It was the Summer of '24. I was working as a copywriter intern at a Dallas ad agency called TPN.
One day, a couple creative directors decided to let a whole bunch of us take a swing at writing a TV spot for the very sexy North Texas Tollway Authority's TollTag program.
The result was lots of puppets, a spoof on FX's The Bear, and one lucky intern's first big TV commercial. Enjoy.
